Arab Countries Account for 53.5 Percent of OPEC+ Production

The share of Arab countries in total oil production within the OPEC+ alliance of OPEC members and non-members increased to 53.55 percent in August, compared to about 52.97 percent in July 2025, bringing the total Arab group production to 22.706 million barrels per day, up from 22.188 million barrels per day in July.

Total Arab OPEC production reached about 21.71 million barrels per day in August, representing around 77.68 percent of OPEC’s total output. The Arab OPEC members include Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Libya, and Algeria, while the OPEC+ alliance also includes Oman, Bahrain, and Sudan.
